Abraham Walkowitz in his studio with paintings. [graphic]. 1908.

Walkowitz leaning against the wall in his studio, surrounded by paintings on the wall. Identification on accompanying label (typewritten): Abraham Walkowitz (1880-1965). For the decade after the Armory Show, Walkowitz, with Dasburg, O'Keefe, Hartley, and Zorach, revealed the impact of that Exhibition in his work, for they adopted the new techniques and styles, and although not so absorbed as the Europeans in theories, they worked diligently to express the "new modernism."
